My daughter and son-in-law recently bought a older house, and one of the things it was missing was a pantry. They decided that they wanted to build an "open" pantry in an open space between the cabinets and the corner of the room. I really enjoyed spending the day with them building a custom pantry. We built it from plywood, assembled it using pocket screws, and trimmed it so that there were no exposed plywood edges. If you are planning to build a similar unit, I hope our project gives you some ideas. Happy making!
